Mitchell Park Domes Celebrates Día de los Muertos

The Mitchell Park Domes hosted a vibrant Día de los Muertos celebration on Oct. 25, bringing Milwaukee families and community members together for a night filled with food, music and cultural tributes.


Running 6-9 p.m., the event featured live performances, traditional ofrendas, face painting and vendors spread across the domes and greenhouse, creating a lively, family-friendly environment.

USCIS Milwaukee Field Offices Relocates, Reopens Oct. 21

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Milwaukee Field Office relocated this month. The office at 310 East Knapp St. #154 closed on Oct. 3, 2024, according to a USCIS news release.


As a result, USCIS will not offer in-person services from Oct. 4 through Oct. 18, 2024. During this transition period, the offices will remain closed and will reopen at the new location on Oct. 21, 2024. The new USCIS office is located at 310 W. Wisconsin Ave., Suite 850 W, Milwaukee, WI 53203.

Library Hosts Latine Heritage Month Pop-Up Exhibit - UWM Post

The UWM Libraries’ Distinctive Collections are hosting pop-up exhibits in honor of Latine Heritage Month Sept. 14-Oct. 15.
